Terms of Service
Effective 2026-10-18
These terms are an agreement between you and BDTech Labs for your use of the Jibon app and service. By creating an account you accept them. Please also read the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Jibon helps you organize tasks, reminders, bills, documents, family dates and notes. Jibon does not process payments: bills in Jibon are records and reminders only.
2. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without permission.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
3. Your content
- You keep ownership of everything you add. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to provide Jibon to you.
- Only upload content you have the right to store. Do not use Jibon for anything unlawful, or to store other people's information without their consent where it is required.
- Keep your own copies of originals. Jibon stores copies of documents for convenience; it does not replace official documents.
4. Reminders are an aid
We work hard to make reminders reliable, but notifications depend on your phone's settings, battery optimisation and permissions, and may be delayed or missed. Do not rely on Jibon as your only reminder for critical medical, legal, financial or official deadlines.
5. Acceptable use
Do not try to access other users' data, disrupt or overload the service, reverse engineer it to bypass security, or upload malicious files. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features. If we ever shut Jibon down, we will give reasonable notice so you can save your information.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
8. Liability
Jibon is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, BDTech Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by missed reminders, or by data you did not keep elsewhere. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
10. Changes to these terms
We will update the date above when these terms change and tell you in the app about important changes before they take effect.
